Leadership Update & News
Dear Members,
We would like to share an important organisational update regarding the leadership and governance of the Greeks in the City Association (GITC).
After 4 years of dedicated service and the successful organisation of 27 events during his tenure as Chairman, Greg Hadjigrigoriadis has decided to pass the baton. Mr Hadjigrigoriadis has played a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the Greek professional network in London. The ExCo extends its sincere appreciation for his leadership and lasting impact.
This transition reflects GITC’s strong culture of collaboration, as well as its commitment to continuity, sound governance, and collective engagement.
At its most recent meeting, the Executive Committee (ExCo) unanimously resolved the following:
President Appointment
With effect from 8 June 2026, the ExCo has appointed Ion Sioras as President (renamed from Chairman). As Partner and Co-Head of Multi-Asset Strategy at Cerno Capital, and through his involvement in GITC since its inception, he will support the organisation’s continued development.
Executive Committee Changes
With effect from 8 June 2026, Nikos Syrigos, Ariana Floropoulou, and Elena Kastellanou will join the ExCo, replacing Orestis Manolopoulos, Angelene Perdis, and Olga Efstathiou. Following their recent departures from London, the ExCo would like to formally thank Orestis, Angelene, and Olga for their valuable contributions and to wish them continued success in their professional endeavours in Athens and Dubai.
